Students typically assist experienced technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. This role helps develop technical skills, industry knowledge, and prepares students for certifications and full-time HVAC careers.

What does an HVAC student do?

As an HVAC Student, your daily tasks will likely include assisting experienced technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems, as well as participating in classroom or on-the-job training sessions. You’ll learn to use industry tools, perform site evaluations, and troubleshoot basic system issues, all while adhering to strict safety procedures. Collaboration is common, as you work alongside mentors and other apprentices to complete projects efficiently. This hands-on experience not only builds your technical skills but also prepares you for greater responsibilities as you progress in your HVAC career.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be an HVAC student?
