We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality and climate control, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. Duties

  • Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately install or repair equipment
  • Conduct plumbing connections and ensure proper refrigerant levels for refrigeration and HVAC units
  • Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues and perform equipment repairs or replacements as needed
  • Weld, fabricate, or modify components using welding techniques to meet installation specifications
  • Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation or maintenance with a solid understanding of HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction, property maintenance, appliance repair, or boiler operation
  • Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and technical blueprints
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment effectively
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus; valid driver’s license required for field service travel
  • Skilled in plumbing, welding, equipment repair, and general mechanical tasks related to HVAC systems
  • Knowledge of field service procedures including troubleshooting electrical components and performing routine maintenance tasks
