SR. GRAPHIC DESIGNER
GENERAL SUMMARY

Etherio is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer who can take full ownership of creative execution across meetings, conferences, and association clients. This role would report to the Creative Director.
This is a hands-on, senior-level role responsible for leading projects from concept through final delivery. The ideal candidate is a self-directed, experienced designer who can manage multiple priorities, make sound creative decisions, and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Lead the creative development and execution of event branding and visual systems
  • Design and produce high-volume, high-visibility event collateral, including signage, print materials, and digital assets
  • Take ownership of projects and drive them forward independently
  • Translate project goals and direction into clear, effective design solutions
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
  • Build production-ready, scalable files with strong attention to structure and efficiency
  • Ensure consistency across all deliverables while adapting designs across formats and environments
  • Identify and resolve design and production challenges proactively
  • Collaborate with internal teams and confidently communicate design decisions
  • Keep current with design trends and digital best practices in both the event marketing space as well as the association management marketing space
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional graphic design experience in an agency, events, or high-output environment
  • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end project ownership and execution
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Strong expertise in print production, file setup, and large-format design
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work effectively with general direction and project goals
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills
  • Experience creating clean, organized, and scalable working files for team environments
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong eye for layout, typography, color theory, and user experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on conference creative or multi-deliverable campaigns is strongly preferred
  • Experience with live events, conferences, or trade shows
  • Environmental or large-format signage design experience
  • Motion graphics or video (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Familiarity with digital platforms or event technology

WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
This position is based in our Atlanta office. We operate as a Hybrid work environment, working as a combination of remote and in-office presence, as well as the possibility of being onsite at client and/or event locations.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel for event site visits and onsite creative execution (~10–15%).
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
  • Requires flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client, event, or company needs.
  • Flexible scheduling during peak event production periods.
