Graphic Designer - JLL

What this job involves:

Join JLL's creative team as an Entry Level Graphic Designer, where you'll play a vital role in supporting business development through compelling visual design and marketing materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply professional graphic design principles while developing innovative ideas that enhance JLL's competitive advantage in the commercial real estate market. You'll work collaboratively with deal teams to translate concepts into visually striking materials, from offering memorandums and presentations to new to market and closing flyers. As part of a fast-paced and high-volume environment with changing priorities, you'll manage complex projects from concept through completion while staying current on design trends and software advancements to continuously enhance presentation quality and effectiveness.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Create, design, and edit comprehensive materials including print and interactive collateral such as proposals, offering memorandums, graphics/covers, flyers, maps, and presentation materials
  • Apply professional graphic design principles to develop innovative visual solutions that support business development objectives
  • Manage complex design projects from initial concept through final completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Provide design advice and guidance to deal teams, translating verbal and written input into compelling graphic illustrations
  • Design dynamic marketing campaigns that align with JLL branding standards and client preferences
  • Stay current on design software advancements and marketing/design trends within and outside the real estate industry
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating initiative and proactively identifying needs
  • Collaborate with deal team to identify workflow bottlenecks and develop solutions that streamline processes.
  • Oversee and execute a substantial graphics production pipeline supporting multiple analysts and brokers simultaneously while prioritizing competing requests

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design
  • Minimum of 2-3 years design experience using Adobe Creative Suite with strong emphasis on InDesign expertise
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) on Macintosh operating system
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated tact and diplomacy when interacting with stakeholders
  • Well-developed verbal, listening, written, and creative design skills
  • Excellent time management, planning, and problem-solving abilities with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to design within established branding standards while maintaining quality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design-related certifications
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate industry
  • Intermediate working knowledge of HTML, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Understanding of responsive design principles
  • Experience creating floor plans, aerials, and technical real estate graphics
  • Familiarity with bound book production and print specifications
