Job description

WellStreet Urgent Care is looking for a Content Strategist and Writer to own all written content production across our portfolio of joint venture partner brands and WellStreet corporate. This is a high-output, detail-oriented role for a skilled writer who can work across a wide range of formats, channels, and audiences, from patient-facing digital content to B2B thought leadership, all while maintaining brand voice, healthcare compliance standards, and quality across every deliverable. What You'll Do

Patient-Facing Digital Content

• Write and maintain blog posts, service pages, FAQ pages, and location-specific website copy across all four partner brand websites and WellStreet.com

• Draft and optimize Google My Business listing content including business descriptions, service descriptions, and Q&A content across 170+ locations

• Write review response templates and individual responses to patient reviews across all partner brands, ensuring tone consistency and brand alignment

• Produce patient-facing email and SMS copy for CRM campaigns, automated journeys, re-engagement series, welcome series, and seasonal campaigns in ActiveCampaign

Campaign & Social Content

• Write copy for seasonal and evergreen social media content across all partner brand organic social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

• Develop digital ad copy for paid and organic campaigns including headlines, body copy, and call-to-action language across Google, Meta, and other platforms

• Write campaign asset copy for grand opening marketing, seasonal campaigns, and center level marketing initiatives, collaborating with the graphic designer on final execution

• Script video and podcast content as needed, including Lunch and Recess video series scripts and short-form social video scripts

B2B, PR & Thought Leadership

• Write WellStreet B2B website copy, landing pages, and service descriptions targeting health system partners and prospective clients

• Draft press releases for grand openings, partnership announcements, and other organizational milestones across all partner brands

• Develop B2B collateral including one-pagers, capability decks, and sales support materials in collaboration with the graphic designer

• Contribute to thought leadership articles, whitepapers, and LinkedIn long-form content for the WellStreet brand

Content Operations

• Manage your own production schedule within the editorial calendar, ensuring all content is delivered on time and submitted for review after publication

• Conduct keyword research and follow SEO best practices in collaboration with the SEO, Web and CRM Manager to ensure all content supports organic search goals

• Maintain a working knowledge of healthcare marketing compliance requirements, ensuring all content is compliant with applicable regulations and partner brand standards

• Adapt tone, voice, and style appropriately for each partner brand, understanding the distinction between Piedmont Urgent Care, Corewell Health Urgent Care, Prisma Health Urgent Care, University Hospitals Urgent Care, and WellStreet B2B

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years of professional writing experience, ideally in healthcare, multi-location brand, or agency environments

• Exceptional writing skills across multiple formats including long-form, short-form, digital, email, and conversational content

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and how content supports organic search performance

• Experience writing for CRM or email marketing platforms, ActiveCampaign experience a plus

• Familiarity with healthcare marketing compliance and patient communication standards

• Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent writing projects without sacrificing quality or deadlines

• Experience with content management systems, ContentStack or WordPress experience a plus

• Collaborative and receptive to feedback, able to take direction from multiple stakeholders while maintaining a consistent brand voice

• Healthcare or multi-location brand writing experience strongly preferred
