The Division is responsible for the pre award processes, award, and post-award administration of Federal assistance agreements (grants and cooperative agreements) for a wide range of research, specialized studies, construction, and other activities necessary to support DOT, FHWA Headquarters Offices, and Division Offices carry out their mission in accordance with Title 23 U.S.C.
