Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

About This Job

We're looking for a Marketing Engineer I to join our team and help build and maintain fast, modern websites and web applications. You'll work with our core stack alongside experienced developers who will mentor you as you grow your skills.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is comfortable with the fundamentals of front-end development and eager to deepen their expertise in a modern, production-grade tech stack.

This position will sit onsite at either our HQ in San Diego, CA, or Las Vegas, NV office location.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain responsive, accessible web pages and components using Next.js (React)
  • Integrate front-end templates with content from our headless CMS (e.g., Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, or similar)
  • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot sites; including build configurations, environment variables, and deploy previews
  • Translate design mockups (Figma or similar) into clean, reusable code
  • Write basic tests and participate in code review with senior team members
  • Debug and resolve front-end bugs, performance issues, and cross-browser inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with designers, content editors, and other developers to ship new features
  • Help maintain documentation for components, workflows, and CMS content models

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of professional or project experience in web development
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with React (Next.js experience a plus, but willingness to learn is essential)
  • Familiarity with Git and basic version control workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback
