BigBear.ai is seeking a BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Front-End Angular Engineer to translate visionary designs into the high-performance interface of our next-generation Digital Twin SaaS platform, currently revolutionizing sectors such as Warehousing & Logistics, Manufacturing, Travel & Trade, and Healthcare. This is a hybrid remote role focused on orchestrating the UI architecture for complex, real-time data ecosystems where the digital and physical worlds converge.

What you need to have
  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with 3+ years in AngularDeep expertise in Angular v17+ and strong familiarity with Angular v20+ features and architecture patterns
  • Mastery of RxJS - operators, subjects, schedulers, and real-world reactive patterns
  • Hands-on experience with Angular's Signal-based APIs and the evolving reactivity model
  • Strong command of TypeScript v5+, including advanced types, decorators, and strict mode
  • Proficiency in modern CSS/SCSS - variables, cascade layers, responsive design, and component-scoped styling
  • Semantic, accessible modern HTML with an understanding of web standards
  • Experience building UI with PrimeNG v20+ or comparable enterprise component libraries
  • Experience integrating charting/visualization libraries such as Chart.js or equivalent tooling
  • Comfortable with AI-powered development tools like Cursor.ai or other equivalent development tools; understands when and how to leverage AI assistance effectively, including model selection for different tasks
  • Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization, change detection strategies, and bundle optimization

What we'd like you to have
  • Bachelor or master's in computer science or related field. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience in designing digital twin applications, simulations, or operational SaaS dashboards.
  • UX Certification
  • Experience with Three.js or WebGL-based 3D rendering
  • Familiarity with Golden layout / Infragistics Ignite UI for Angular
  • Experience with AG Grid for enterprise data grid implementations
  • Backend exposure to C# / .NET 10
  • Awareness or hands-on experience with WebAssembly (WASM) and its integration patterns with Angular
