Front End Developer
The Opportunity:
As a full stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. We're looking for a developer like you with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production-ready.
This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience developing web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript with frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
  • Experience with Development in Node.JS
  • Experience with usability analysis, automated testing development, such as unit testing and E2E
  • Experience collaborating closely with software development teams
  • Experience in creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to switch between programming languages and learn new ones as needed
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with ArcGIS JavaScript or geospatial web development
  • Experience with Java Spring Framework
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium
  • Experience scripting in Bash or Perl in Linux environments
  • Experience with JavaScript visualization libraries such as D3, Leaflet, or AG Grid
  • Experience with information security practices
  • Experience with Agile or Kanban development methodologies
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, GitHub, or GitLab
  • Knowledge of standards across JavaScript, JSON, REST, CORS, Web architecture, and HTTP
  • Ability to work with geospatial tools, including ArcGIS

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
