Job SummaryThe Sr. Rebate Analyst is responsible for assisting with the daily rebate operations and mentoring of rebate analyst to meet department goals and deadlines, ensuring appropriate analytical support is provided for rebate payments, administrative fees, and compliance program payments to key national GPO customers, distributors and assigned National Accounts within the Model N system. This role will serve as the first point of contact to support Finance, Sales, National Accounts & Commercial Contracting and Analysis groups and assigned Primary GPO, National Account and Managed Care customers daily operations issues and/ or concerns. The Sr Rebates Analyst will also provide rebates processing and deduction resolution support, if and when, needed. The Sr Rebate Analyst is responsible for maintaining and developing strong collaborative relationships with both external and internal partners. Sr Rebate Analyst will also assist the Team Lead and Sr Manager with meeting department goals and objectives.
Salary Range $85,000 -$90,000 based on experience
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Hybrid role: Onsite 3 days per week

  • Monitor daily rebates operations ensuring rebates are processed and appropriate payments are issued within contractual requirements. P
  • Provides coaching, mentoring and training to rebate analysts ensuring department policies and procedures are being followed at all times.
  • Assists in, both internal and external reports and audits for the Rebates Department.
  • Opens IT tickets to report and resolve technical issues. Manages ticket status ensuring successful resolution. Interacts with IT to create, design, redesign and improve standard management sales reports
  • Provides ad hoc reports to management regarding GPO, IHN, and National Account customers as required.
  • Administers, tracks, calculates, and processes rebate payments, administrative fees, and compliance program payments to key national GPO customers, distributors and assigned National Accounts within the Model N system. Reviews payments for completeness and accuracy. Enters rebate programs into Model N. Runs and provides printed and electronic fee and rebate reports for customers including custom customer reports or ad hoc reports.
  • Maintain consistent and open lines of communication with Rebates Team Lead and Sr Manager ensuring awareness of department status and issues. Strive to minimize issues by demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and accurate performance of tasks.
  • Work collectively with team in identifying new process and system improvement opportunities and identify, resolve, or escalate repetitive or complex discrepancies.
  • Ensure SOPs are up to date and the team maintains a thorough understanding of rebates processes and policies.
  • Analyzes large sets of data and provide accurate and meaningful information and insight at the request of Management.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of Fresenius Kabi rebate policies and procedures.
  • Acts as SME (subject matter expert) for the Model N system. Assists in training, problem solving, and provides department expertise on the Model N system.
  • Conducts trend analysis on payment packages paid over prior contract periods and sales history. Reviews, approves, and implement new rebate programs and amendments within Model N.
  • Analyzes and reconciles any deductions related to assigned accounts in SAP, resulting in credit or recovery of payback. Daily reconciliation of rebate payments to ensure accurate payment to wholesaler and/or GPO.
  • Administers, calculates, tracks and processes Oncology Rebate Programs for key oncology distributor customers.
  • Works with customers, wholesalers, and functional groups within Fresenius Kabi to process contract eligibility according to company and department SOPs and procedures including class of trade review.
  • Reviews and analyzes memberships and contract eligibility for various GPOs at Fresenius Kabi as required.
  • Provides support for contracts including updating and maintaining the contract files. Works with both internal and external auditors to provide contract documentation and information as requested and required.
  • Files all contract documents according to department and company SOPs. Prepares contract files for Records Retention.
  • All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Business or Finance, and a 3+ years related work experience.

  • Pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical device or biotech industry highly desired.

  • Knowledge of GPOs, Managed Care, IDNs, and Wholesaler experience highly preferred.

  • Ability to interface effectively with all groups and teams and within all levels of the organization.

  • Strong marketing and sales orientation.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent Excel, PC, analytical, and organizational skillsThe Company's primary business language is English.
