Description

Chevo is hiring an experienced Project Manager to join our expanding firm in the Washington, DC metro area. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to Federal or DHS Budget and Performance operations engagements. This will be a hybrid work environment.


Duties and Responsibilities: 

Perform Business Process Improvement

Provide support with data from various ICE and DHS data systems, such as the Investigative Case Management (ICM) System, Table of Organization Position System (TOPS), and Federal Financial Management System (FFMS).

Plan, manage, and implement contract requirements and providing guidance on all operational functions.

Overseeing deployment and model development in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server dashboards and possibly R analysis.

Assist with Investment Justification and Management Support

Project Management support-initiating schedules; Risk Register Management; SharePoint Support; and associated Administrative Support.

Support the Government Program Manager with process reengineering, workflow analysis, risk management, analytical support, outreach, and stakeholder assessments.

Strong written and oral communications are needed, as well as subject matter expertise in Federal Financial/Budget Management and Congressional Reporting.

Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

Master's degree in mathematics or Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Public Administration, or a similar field.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required.

Eight plus (8+) years of budgetary experience.

Eight plus (8+) years of experience managing teams of analysts within a federal law enforcement environment.

Ten to fifteen (10-15) years of experience supporting or working for the Federal government, including eight (8) years of professional experience providing budget execution and formulation, and preparing financial reporting documents for Executive Agencies, including Congress and OMB.

Demonstrate expert knowledge of financial strategy with operational data and may have experience overseeing the development and deployment of analytical models at a federal law enforcement agency.

Provide budgetary support to the Government.

Develop tools to prepare reports and methodology to improve communication and coordination with stakeholders across a large budget office within a federal agency. 


Desired Qualifications:

Experience leading projects in a Law Enforcement Environment.

Experience developing and implementing strategic plans and performance management programs within DHS or ICE.

Experience managing and developing performance reporting analysis within ICE.

Ability to develop point papers, briefing materials, and to make oral presentation of these materials to all levels of management, with emphasis on technical communication and federal budget requirements.

Ability to educate and inform senior management on various alternatives and strategic approaches for approaching key decision-making requirements.

Ability to provide clear leadership, technical direction, and strategic insight to federal leads and OBPP leadership.

Ability to review, synthesize and prepare highly technical, sensitive, and complex documents, briefing materials, management directives and correspondence.

Strong visual, written, and verbal communication, with emphasis on:

Technical communications in a federal budget environment.

Strategic communications of project deliverables with executive leadership and stakeholders external to ICE


SALARY RANGE: $155,000 - $180,000
