The Job at a Glance

Our Senior EDI Analyst (internally known as the Senior Guardian of Trade Routes) is responsible for maintaining the highest level of support for our EDI infrastructure and processes while leading the design, development, deployment, and support of appropriate EDI solutions that support our IT strategy and overall business objectives. This role leads the end-to-end development of trading partner integrations, ensures data accuracy and compliance with industry standards, and partners closely with business and IT teams to maintain a stable, scalable EDI ecosystem.

A Typical Day

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding of new trading partners, including requirement gathering, mapping, testing and deployment.
  • Coordinate meetings with business stakeholders and trading partner leads to ensure a successful onboarding within the Sprint.
  • Design, build, test, deploy and manage EDI maps, trading partner set ups, and documentation of solution for EDI transactions, APIs, and application interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with partner requirements.
  • Lead mapping solutions by gathering business requirements and proposing effective and innovative remedies.
  • Collaborate with business teams to lead integration initiatives (ERP, WMS, CRM, e-commerce).
  • Follow SDLC best practices to hand off development to operations team.
  • Participate in IT change management, release coordination, and regression testing.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and integration optimization within the Boomi environment.

To Land This Opportunity

  • You possess 6+ years of EDI implementation, configuration, and mapping experience
  • You have 2-5 years of experience with Dell Boomi or an equivalent middleware solution.
  • You maintain a working knowledge of business concepts and processes workflows for Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Warehouse Distribution
  • You maintain strong proficiency with EDI standards, X12 (850, 810, 832, 846, 855, 856), EDIFACT, CXML and flat files with SQL, scripting, and automation support
  • You have experience defining and executing integration and user acceptance tests as they apply to the development of EDI solutions
  • You’re familiar with APIs, JSON/XML, web services and Boomi connectors
  • You demonstrate advanced mapping skills using Boomi, Trading Partner shapes, and custom scripting
  • You have excellent written and communication skills are proven with experience working directly with business partners, vendors, and customers
  • You love to work collaboratively with the team and share new concepts and ideas
  • You can manage multiple priorities and lead technical tasks independently
  • You possess experience integrating with Tier 1 ERP solution
  • Bonus points if you have experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPI, and/or API management
  • Bonus points if you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

The salary range for this role is $85,061.66 to $ 114,793.86 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
