Job description

Responsibilities/Qualifications
Maple Heights Senior Living Community is seeking a Bus Driver to assist with the transportation for our seniors to appointments, outings, family visits, or where needed. The right person will be someone who is flexible,caring, able to lift approximately 50 lbs., with a good sense of direction.
This is a FT position, Mon - Friday and some weekends as needed! The Bus Driver will transport majority of the time, and assist with Life Enrichment on down time.
The right individual must be able to drive a bus and have a valid Chauffeur's license.
Responsibilities:
  • Documentation and maintenance of the bus.
  • Drive the residents where needed.
  • Assist the residents by using the correct safety procedures to operate, lift, and secure wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
  • Observed and maintain safety of residents while driving residents to appointments.

Requirements:
  • Must have Driver's License.
  • Must have an excellent driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A positive attitude.
  • The ability to arrive on time for every shift.
