  • Review, validate, and support production deployments, maintenance activities, and application releases while ensuring uninterrupted financial transaction processing
  • Participate in occasional off-hours needs to provide leadership during critical incidents to restore service and minimize business impact

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting high-volume, real-time transaction processing applications within mission-critical production environments
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting HP NonStop (Tandem) platforms and associated payment processing applications
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing tools such as Splunk for enterprise monitoring, alerting, log analysis, and develop monitoring queries or operational reporting solutions
  • 3+ years of experience using Python, Shell scripting, or comparable scripting languages to automate operational processes and administrative tasks
  • 3+ years of experience performing database queries, transaction analysis, and troubleshooting complex production processing issues
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Prior experience writing TACL macros and scripts within HP NonStop environments
  • Knowledge of debit card transaction processing frameworks, transaction routing, and payment network integrations
  • Experience evaluating or utilizing AIOps platforms, machine learning-driven monitoring solutions, or AI-assisted support technologies
  • ITIL certification or experience operating within ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management frameworks

How you'll work:

  • Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through Friday
  • This role requires occasional non-standard and/or overnight hours for client support and/or outages
  • This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays
