Job description

Our client is seeking a fulltime Senior Designer with SolidWorks experience. Oil & Gas background is highly preferred.

MUST have SolidWorks experience to qualify.

Hourly wage is DOE and will be dependent on years of experience. Company covers 100% of healthcare coverage including dental and vision for the employee. They also offer 401K and PTO. Coverage starts 30 days after start date.

Overall duties and requirements:

  • Seeking a Senior Designer with at least 10+ years of experience; Open to those with 20+ years of experience.
  • College degree is not required.
  • You'll be expected to generate models of parts and complex assemblies with little guidance.
  • Experience with hydraulic and/or electrical schematics.
  • Use CAD to generate models and drawings to define equipment to be manufactured.
  • Work closely with engineering team and shop personnel to oversee design to conception.
  • Participate in design reviews, offers suggestions, etc.
  • Work with customers to discuss design requirements.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or similar 2D drafting software.
  • U.S. Citizens only at this time.

This description does not include all duties. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Work is done onsite a majority of time. This individual will be expected to collaborate with all departments. Company is eager to hire. They conduct a first round phone screen then an onsite interview where you will meet with the president and engineering team.
