 "The most fun job ever!" that's how employees describe being a FASHION BUYER at Uptown Woodlands! Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults. We carry everything from mall to luxury brands at up to 70% off regular/resale prices. Get first look at new and Pre-loved Fashion & Designer items and appraise them using our software system (we'll train).  We aim to make fashion more sustainable and that's where you come in.  We're looking for part-time Buyers and can train the right candidate on everything you need to know.  Part-time Buyers typically work 14-28 hours per week. Responsibilities:
  • Select & price gently-used & new clothing, shoes, bags & jewelry styles for our customers with expertise 
  • Must have an eye for fashion 
  • Able to assist with merchandising clothing throughout the store
  • Assist with Luxury Authentications (using our third party vendor-will train)
  • Provide excellent customer service to sellers and buyers
  • Work with the store staff to keep the everything organized
  • Assist with cashiering customer transactions
  • Open availability preferred! Must work WEEKENDS
  • Must be a fast learner, responsible, & have excellent communication skills
