Job description

Mechanical Technologist / Designer / Engineer
Location:
Edmonton, AB
Salary Range:
$65,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience and designation)

We are currently partnering with a well-established building consulting engineering firm in Edmonton that is looking to add a Mechanical Technologist, Designer, or Engineer to their growing team. This opportunity is well suited for someone with hands-on experience in the building consultancy / consulting engineering space who is looking to continue developing their technical and project exposure.

The Role

Depending on your experience level, responsibilities may include:

  • Mechanical system design for building projects (HVAC, plumbing, and related systems)

  • Preparation of drawings, layouts, and construction documents

  • Coordination with electrical, structural, and architectural teams

  • Supporting project delivery from concept through construction

  • Assisting with site reviews, field reports, and contract administration

  • Working closely with senior engineers and project managers on active projects

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field

  • Experience working within a consulting engineering / building services environment

  • Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems for buildings

  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit

  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
