Senior Database EngineerLocation: Palm Beach, FL, 33410Job Description

The Senior Database Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex databases for our organization. They will work closely with our development team to ensure that our databases are optimized for performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design and administration, as well as experience with data modeling and ETL processes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex databases for our organization
  • Work closely with our development team to ensure that our databases are optimized for performance and scalability
  • Develop and maintain data models for our databases
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes to ensure that our databases are up-to-date and accurate
  • Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure that our databases are secure and compliant with industry standards
  • Provide technical support to our development team as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in database design and administration
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and postgreSQL and database management systems (DBMS)
  • Coding skills in at least one scripting language a must (Perl, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
