I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of 1 Senior Database Administrator (Database Administrator 3), referred to as Worker, for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The candidate will be responsible for advanced database administration tasks, working with Full-stack Java applications on HHSCโ€™s cloud platform (Azure/AWS) within an Agile (Scrum) environment. Tasks include migrating data from Oracle applications to SQL schemas, optimizing database performance, resolving performance bottlenecks, and implementing monitoring solutions for database health and performance metrics.
