Opportunity (Full-Time): Content Developer / Editor (Senior Level)

Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is seeking an experienced Content Developer / Editor (Senior Level) to support a SOCOM awarded contract providing comprehensive, integrated analytical, operational, and informational support. The Content Developer / Editor will provide senior-level editorial oversight, quality assurance, and content guidance to ensure written products are accurate, consistent, aligned with established messaging and brand standards, and responsive to mission objectives.

Objective:

Provide senior-level editorial oversight and quality assurance to ensure written products meet established client standards, maintain a consistent brand voice, and support mission objectives. The Content Developer / Editor will review articles and other written materials, provide editorial guidance, coach writers on content requirements and brand alignment, and conduct quality assessments of copy-edited material prior to final publication. The position will work closely with Content Managers, writers, and other team members to ensure the accurate, consistent, and timely delivery of content while maintaining established daily, weekly, and monthly production goals and deadlines.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • Previous experience supporting Geographic or Functional Combatant Command missions, large organizations/headquarters staff activities.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in writing, editing, journalism, communications, publishing, content development, or a closely related field.
  • Experience reviewing and assessing articles and other written products for accuracy, clarity, consistency, quality, and adherence to established editorial and brand standards.
  • Experience providing editorial guidance and coaching writers on content requirements, messaging, brand alignment, voice, and overall quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide senior-level editorial review and feedback to ensure final products support mission and client objectives.
  • Experience collaborating with content managers, writers, freelancers, editors, and other content-production professionals while managing multiple products and competing deadlines.
  • Strong written communication, editing, organizational, editorial judgment, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Current Department of War (DoW) Top Secret clearance.
