Job description

Contractor Program Security Officer

The Opportunity:

Manage the industrial security program and security activities at a customer accredited facility, ensuring compliance with the intelligence community (IC), DoD government, and company security policies, requirements, and procedures, and maintaining the overall accreditation posture. Review and investigate non-compliance issues. Provide security advice, guidance, and recommendations to all levels of staff. Manage program and administrative activities regarding security clearances for the organization's employees and advise management and personnel on issues. Assist with ad hoc proposal security volume reviews. Coordinate security support for compartmented or special access programs, as required.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with applying tailored, responsive, multi-disciplined security support, including personnel, physical, technical, operational, and information security aimed at the protection of corporate and client personnel, information, facilities, programs, and capabilities
  • Experience with SCI administration
  • Knowledge of personnel and physical security policies and regulations, including ICD 705 and Security Executive Agent Directives
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer
  • Knowledge of contract and acquisition security practices
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop and articulate focused solutions, and take independent action in an often ambiguous work environment
  • Ability to provide constructive, tactful, and discrete security advice and guidance to personnel across all levels, including senior managers, peers, subordinates, and customers
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
