Job description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting and modernizing enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and Azure platforms. With a focus on enterprise-grade connectivity, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our cloud networking strategy and enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Support, and Troubleshoot: Manage enterprise network infrastructure, including on-premises and Azure environments, ensuring seamless hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Configure and Maintain Azure Networking Components: Implement Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Virtual Network Peering, Network Security Groups (NSGs), User-Defined Routes (UDRs), Load Balancers, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
  • Lead Migration and Modernization Projects: Support and execute network migration initiatives and infrastructure modernization efforts aimed at increasing efficiency and resilience.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to guarantee reliable, secure network connectivity.
  • Performance Optimization & Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot complex network performance, routing, and connectivity challenges across hybrid environments.
  • Documentation & Change Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topology changes, and deployment activities, adhering to change control protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Extensive experience with enterprise routing and switching, supporting large-scale environments.
    • Hands-on experience designing and supporting Azure networking solutions, including VNets, peering, NSGs, UDRs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute.
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols, and advanced troubleshooting skills in hybrid cloud scenarios.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Knowledge of Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms.
    • Familiarity with Cisco ACI environments.
    • Experience with enterprise DNS, load balancing technologies, and data center modernization projects.
    • Comfort working within change-controlled production environments.
Certifications (Preferred):
  • CCNP Enterprise or higher
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
  • CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (a plus)
Publishing Pay Range: $68.97 - $74.32 Hourly This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
