Job description

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network Engineer:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and implementation of enterprise-scale, multi-cloud networking solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused primarily on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), with AWS expertise required and Azure experience considered a plus. The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud network architectures in large enterprise environments and will serve as a technical leader driving cloud networking strategy, automation, security, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise networking solutions across multi-cloud environments, with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud network architectures supporting business-critical applications and services.
  • Lead network modernization initiatives and cloud connectivity strategies across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Design and deploy Google Cloud Platform services such as VPCs, Cloud Routing, Load Balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, Network Security Services, and Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Connectivity Solutions.
  • Design, deploy, and support Amazon Web Services components including Application Load Balancers (ALB), Network Load Balancers (NLB), Transit Gateways (TGW), Internet Gateways (IGW), and more.
  • Design, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure services like ExpressRoute, Virtual Networks (VNets), VPN Solutions, Traffic Manager, and others.
  • Design and implement network security controls and application delivery solutions.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and operational support.
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies and evaluate new tools through proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to align network capabilities with business objectives.
  • Partner with vendors and service providers to evaluate technologies and support global networking strategies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering standards, best practices, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and enhance cloud orchestration capabilities for automated deployment, management, and scaling of cloud services.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and network automation initiatives.
  • Contribute to operational efficiency through automation and tooling improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Master''s degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in network architecture, engineering, and security.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments with 5,000 employees.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud networking solutions within Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
  • Deep understanding of network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and application delivery platforms.
  • Strong expertise in routing and networking technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, and Geneve.
  • Experience designing and supporting virtualized, data center, campus, and hybrid cloud networking environments.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale technology initiatives and work effectively through complex infrastructure transformations.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced cloud networking or cloud security certifications.
  • Experience with network automation using Python and/or Ansible.
  • Experience with network segmentation and micro-segmentation initiatives.
  • Experience using packet capture, flow analysis, and network monitoring tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SASE, SD-WAN, Data Center Networking (ACI), Macro/Micro Segmentation.
  • Experience working across multi-vendor networking environments.
  • Experience with cloud security and application delivery technologies.
