IDR is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Clerk to join one of our top clients in Fountain Valley, CA. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about improving workflow and reducing A/R days. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr. Clerk:

  • Provide assistance to the Patient Account Representatives and Management to improve workflow and assist in reducing A/R days
  • Accurately document the PFS financial computer systems while assisting with daily task/batch adjustments and insurance/patient refunds
  • Meet productivity goals as set by Management and recommend resourceful alternatives or original ideas/procedures for work improvement or problem-solving
  • Accurately and timely compile information to meet timelines for subpoenas and process checks
  • Research returned mail and update the system appropriately, ensuring patient correspondence is scanned and indexed in a timely and accurate manner into the document imaging system

Required Skills for Sr. Clerk:
  • Proficiency in the use of computers with MS Office experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive work ethic and ability to meet productivity standards
  • Recent experience in Healthcare / Medical Field
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish, or English/Vietnamese) preferred
  • High School diploma, or GED equivalent, preferred. Business-related courses, preferred
