SumBridge is partnering with a reputable public accounting firm in Auburn, WA to hire an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper. This is a hybrid opportunity ideal for a senior-level accounting professional with strong general ledger (GL) expertise, QuickBooks experience, and knowledge of Washington State tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries
  • Identify, reconcile, and resolve general ledger discrepancies
  • Prepare and file Washington State taxes, including:
    • Payroll tax
    • Excise tax
    • B&O tax
    • Personal property tax
  • Ensure financial records are accurate and tax-ready
  • Communicate with clients regarding accounting questions and documentation
  • Train and support client bookkeepers on best practices
  • Mentor junior accounting and bookkeeping staff

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in accounting
  • Experience working with multiple clients (public accounting or client-facing environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and retained earnings
  • Experience with Washington State Department of Revenue and payroll compliance
  • Proficiency with:
    • QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online

    • Payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, Gusto)
    • Sales platforms (Shopify, Square, Amazon, TikTok)
