Our clients rely on us for accurate financial records, dependable support, and exceptional service, and we're looking for a Staff Bookkeeper who shares those values. If you're organized, detail-oriented, enjoy helping people, and take pride in producing accurate work, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple small business clients. Record and categorize financial transactions accurately. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. Process payroll and reconcile payroll reports and liabilities. Complete bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare and file sales tax, excise tax, and other routine compliance reports. Assist with month-end and year-end bookkeeping tasks. Maintain organized and accurate accounting records. Communicate professionally with clients to answer questions and request needed information. Collaborate with teammates to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule. Identify discrepancies and work proactively to resolve issues. What You'll Bring: Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent successful bookkeeping experience (5 years +). Minimum 2 years of hands‐on experience using QuickBooks Online. Experience processing payroll and reconciling payroll liabilities. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles (GAAP) and financial statements. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple client deadlines and prioritize work effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to providing outstanding client service. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team. Bonus Points For: QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification. Experience with Gusto payroll. Experience with other cloud-based accounting systems (Xero, Zoho, POS systems, integrated Apps) Experience working in a bookkeeping or public accounting firm.
