Travel Requirement: Regular local or regional travel within the assigned territory is required for client meetings, networking, and partner development, in addition to occasional travel for BELAY’s annual company Summit and other business meetings.

 

Job purpose                                       

The Senior Financial Solutions Advisor drives new client acquisition for BELAY’s Financial Solutions division by generating, developing, and closing new business opportunities across BELAY’s accounting, payroll, tax, inventory management, and advisory solutions.

Serving as a consultative sales partner, this role identifies the financial and operational needs of small and mid-sized businesses, develops strategic relationships, and manages complex sales cycles from prospecting through close.

Essential Functions                                      

As a BELAY Corporate Team member, you will professionally represent the company in all virtual and in-person interactions. You are expected to exemplify our mission, vision, and core values while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Generate and close new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.

• Conduct consultative discovery to identify prospective client needs and align BELAY’s Financial Solutions with their business goals.

• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close.

• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline while consistently achieving or exceeding established sales targets.

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with CPAs, financial advisors, business consultants, and other strategic partners.

• Partner with Marketing and internal stakeholders to support lead conversion and market growth initiatives.

• Travel within the assigned territory to support client meetings, networking opportunities, and strategic partner development.

• Deliver virtual and in-person presentations to executive-level decision-makers.

• Maintain knowledge of accounting, finance, and business operations to effectively position BELAY’s services.

• Utilize Salesforce, Gong Engage, and other sales tools to manage pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate customer records.
 

Minimum Qualifications                                  

• 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within financial services, accounting services, financial technology, ERP, bookkeeping, payroll, CFO advisory, or a related industry.

• Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and performance goals.

• Experience generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound business development activities.

• Experience selling consultative, relationship-based solutions involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.

• Working knowledge of accounting and financial management concepts.

• Experience developing referral partnerships that support recurring revenue growth.

Preferred Qualifications                                  


• Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.

• Financial services, accounting, or related professional certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, marketing, business, or a related field.
