This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • Doctorate OR Master degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering  and 4 years of engineering experience. Packaging and Material Science background is a plus.
  •  Strong knowledge of primary and secondary packaging systems and material science (common materials used in healthcare packaging).
  • Experience building, modifying, and approving engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Solid Works, or similar software applications.
  • Experience in design and qualification of packaging components.
  • Fully bilingual: English and Spanish.
  • Technical report writing. Computer literacy.
  •  Strong organizational, project management, technical problem-solving skills.
Job Summary
Independently provides and/or directs the characterization of process optimization strategies and/or troubleshooting of operational issues in the operations, manufacturing, pilot plant or capital projects environment. Applies advanced and diverse engineering principles to the design and implementation of major system modifications, experiments, process and/or capital projects. Develops, organizes, analyzes and presents interpretation of results for operational issues or engineering projects of significant scope and complexity.
