Role Overview
We are seeking a Sr Business Applications Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for our application areas. This is a Senior Business Applications Analyst role supporting the Facets healthcare claims platform. They're looking for someone who understands how health insurance claims systems work and can bridge the gap between the business and the technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Experience supporting Facets platforms is a must
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for application areas, including data definitions, usage, file structure, and business rules governing system functionality.
  • Lead the development of Package Software modification requirements and Interface Design Specifications.
  • Configure necessary tables in Packaged Software to support specific business areas and maintain all file configurations.
  • Plan and serve as a key liaison with business areas during development and implementation.
  • Independently analyze business problems or opportunities and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide direction and assistance to junior staff members.
  • Provide technical leadership and application expertise to project teams and in non-project related activities.
  • Offer detailed configuration expertise and consultative support to customers and business partners.
  • Perform analysis of current Package Software usage and report to business areas on potential improvements.
  • Execute key components of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including designing, code development, unit testing, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree is required. In lieu of a degree, seven or more years of experience in a related field will be considered.
Experience:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a related field is required.

  • Experience with Facet configuration, claims operations, requirements gathering, testing, and system releases
