Job description

AirSculpt is seeking a Senior Video Editor and Animator!

The primary focus of this role is video editing and animation management, with motion design as a core driver of creative output. Strong animation experience is essential, with the ability to bring static creative to life and elevate storytelling in a way that feels native to each platform. This individual will oversee the creation and delivery of video assets across organic, paid, and website channels, ensuring all content aligns with brand standards.

This role requires someone who can take broad creative direction and turn it into clear, compelling executions. A strong understanding of creative briefs is key, along with the ability to interpret feedback, iterate quickly, and present multiple concepts for review.

We're looking for someone deeply tapped into social media who can spot emerging editing trends and identify opportunities that can benefit the brand. This includes staying current with new tools, products, and editing systems, including AI-driven solutions that can improve efficiency and elevate output, and bringing those insights back to the social team. A strong understanding of what works across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter is important.

As the lead editor, this individual will help define and evolve the brand's editing style and motion language, building guidelines for contractors and ensuring all content is cohesive and scalable in collaboration with the Social Media and Content Director and Art Director.

Experience capturing content is a plus, particularly for on-site shoots, clinic content, or influencer collaborations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead video editing and animation assets
  • Manage editing workflows and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of assets
  • Translate creative briefs and feedback into multiple strong concepts and executions
  • Define and evolve brand editing style and motion guidelines for internal and external editors
  • Collaborate closely with Social Media and Content Director and Art Director to ensure cohesive output
  • Oversee and guide external editors and contractors to maintain consistency and scale
  • Ability to capture content and filming experience in case needed for on-site help
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment while delivering against tight deadlines
  • Other tasks/projects as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of video editing and animation experience
  • Ability to color grade efficiently
  • 3+ years of filming experience preferred, but not required
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects. Proficiency in motion design, Photoshop, and Figma preferred.
  • Exceptional experience in project management tools
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, under tight timeframes
  • Experience working in corporate systems and dealing with multiple brick and mortar locations
  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to succinctly describe program objectives and requirements.
  • Experience sourcing music, working with voiceover editing, and AI editing adjustments
  • Excellent communicator, adept at navigating, socializing and building advocacy for concepts and ideas within an organization

Preferred but Not Required:

  • Industry experience in healthcare, beauty, luxury, wellness
  • Still photo editing and simple graphic design knowledge

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit or stand intermittently for the duration of a shift (8-12 hours)
  • Push/pull/lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation

$90-100K. Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant licenses or certifications.
