Do you want to work on a variety of video projects with a tight knit team? Are you looking to grow with a leading brand while honing your craft? Balanced Body is looking for a Video Editor to join our Marketing department!


We are seeking a talented, self-motivated and well-rounded Videographer to join us on-site at our headquarters in Sacramento CA. You'll be responsible for filming & editing various projects for Balanced Body social media, website, and other marketing platforms.

The Marketing Department is fast-paced, collaborative, and we share a commitment to producing the best quality work. Your contributions will support Balanced Body's mission to help make the world a healthier place through movement. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established leader in Pilates, as we continue to grow and expand our reach worldwide.


What you'll do

  • Post-production Video editing for a wide variety of projects
  • Create on-screen graphics & thumbnail images
  • Help schedule, plan and track video release dates
  • Assist in uploading to and maintaining our video channels
  • Support Video production duties (i.e. lighting, recording video, shooting photos, set design, etc.)

Requirements

What you bring

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extremely organized
  • Ability to process feedback & take direction
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with video editing and familiarity using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects
  • Knowledge of current video editing software & technology
  • Three years of experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software
  • Experience color grading
  • Experience with motion graphics & animation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and learn quickly
  • Strong shooter (video & photo)
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Safe and responsible with video/photo equipment


Will be asked to provide samples of work

  • Note what your role was for each sample
  • Include various times of course
  • Be sure that at least one example is current


Preferred:

  • Experience in video production
  • Experience in photography
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Knowledge/experience in Pilates is a plus!


Salary and Work Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Hybrid work schedule Monday - Friday
  • Primarily onsite in Sacramento with occasional remote work possible
  • $29-$36 hourly
