Description du poste

En tant que créateur.rice de systèmes animables senior (Rigger Sénior) à Ubisoft Montréal, vous contribuerez à la création d’armatures de personnages de haute qualité dans 3DS Max et à leur intégration dans notre moteur de jeu. Vous soutiendrez le pipeline d’animation AAA et développerez des systèmes adaptés à un jeu centré sur les personnages.

Ce que vous ferez:

  • Créer des armatures de personnages conviviales dans 3DS Max;
  • Développer des systèmes efficaces de maillage, de déformation et de contrôle;
  • Assurer une exportation et une intégration fiables dans le moteur de jeu;
  • Soutenir et améliorer les pipelines et les flux de travail d’animation;
  • Résoudre les problèmes liés aux armatures, à la déformation et à l’intégration moteur;
  • Optimiser les armatures pour les performances en temps réel;
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d’animation, de direction technique artistique et de programmation;
  • Contribuer aux outils et aux bonnes pratiques de pipeline.
Qualifications
  • Expérience en tant que créateur·trice d’armature dans l’industrie du jeu vidéo;
  • Maîtrise des pipelines de création d’armatures dans 3DS Max;
  • Bonne compréhension de la déformation, du maillage et des systèmes de contrôle;
  • Expérience en scriptage Python pour les pipelines d’armature;
  • Expérience sur des productions de jeux AAA;
  • Compréhension des contraintes liées aux performances en temps réel et aux moteurs de jeu;
  • Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes et bonne connaissance des pipelines de production;
  • Expérience en armature faciale avec des systèmes basés sur les joints, les blendshapes ou des approches hybrides.
