Job Overview

Audubon is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of complex and/or large projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The successful Senior Project Manager will provide direction and management support to project teams during the execution of engineering projects.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Acting as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative. The PM is the face of Audubon to the
  • Creating, executing and revising project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project
  • Identifying resources needed and managing team
  • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of assigned
  • Ensuring that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.
  • Responsible for reviewing project transactions and reporting any discrepancies on a weekly
  • Responsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48hr
  • Responsible for maintaining the resource planning on assigned
  • Managing the project budget and
  • Remaining completely accessible to client during the life of project and providing single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are process timely and
  • Organizing and directing a Project Management Team of other Project Managers and/or Project Engineers.
  • Driving a Management of Change philosophy and enforcing corresponding
  • Serving as the champion for safety and quality on the
  • Reviewing and providing final approval to all subcontractors’ contracts and
  • Managing the overall execution of
  • Possessing a detailed understanding of the sales / BD
  • Understanding the relationship between multi-discipline deliverable packages - including procurement and construction
  • Effectively utilizes each team member to their fullest
  • Motivating team to work together in the most efficient
  • Keeping track of lessons learned and sharing those lessons with team members and
  • Mitigating team conflict and communication
  • Suggesting areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible
  • Leading and/or acting as a member of internal teams/taskAnalyzing project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency, and
  • Additional duties as required.
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree and 10+ years of relative experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of relative
  • Education/Licensure Preferred: BS Engineering, MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 7+ years of industry related experience as a Project Engineer or Project
  • 10+ years of experience as the Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects, Project Engineer and/or Project Manager preferred.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and
  • Knowledgeable in cost estimating and
  • Able to speak comfortably in a group
  • Understanding of all applicable discipline

  • Understands complex revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
