Manager - Semiconductor Operations, Risk & Transformation

Work you'll do

As a Manager within Deloitte's Enterprise Operations & Risk (EO&R) practice, you will help semiconductor and technology clients address complex operational, strategic, and risk-related challenges. You will work closely with client leadership teams and Deloitte practitioners to design and deliver solutions that improve business performance, strengthen resilience, enable growth, and support large-scale transformation initiatives.

The role combines industry knowledge, problem solving, and client leadership across areas such as supply chain resilience, operational excellence, product quality, risk management, technology-enabled transformation, and business strategy. You will be responsible for managing client engagements, developing trusted stakeholder relationships, leading teams, and contributing to the growth of Deloitte's semiconductor sector capabilities.

  • Lead and deliver client engagements focused on operations, risk, resilience, and transformation across semiconductor and technology organizations.
  • Advise clients on complex business challenges related to manufacturing operations, supply chain performance, product quality, operational risk, workforce effectiveness, technology enablement, and organizational transformation.
  • Support clients in identifying, assessing, and addressing risks across business operations, supply chains, third-party relationships, critical processes, and emerging technologies.
  • Assist clients in designing and implementing operating models, governance frameworks, performance management approaches, risk management capabilities, and business process improvements.
  • Support large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives, working across functions including operations, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, technology, strategy, and risk.
  • Structure complex business problems, conduct analyses, and develop practical recommendations that help clients achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders and serve as a day-to-day advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Manage engagement planning, execution, budgets, staffing, reporting, and overall project delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop engagement teams through effective delegation, mentoring, feedback, and performance management.
  • Support business development activities including account planning, opportunity identification, proposal development, and pursuit support.
  • Contribute to the development of Deloitte's semiconductor-focused offerings, thought leadership, and market eminence activities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Technology, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in consulting, semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, industrial products, government, or related industries.
  • Understanding of semiconductor industry dynamics, manufacturing operations, supply chain ecosystems, technology organizations, or related business environments.
  • Experience supporting operational improvement, risk management, resilience, compliance, transformation, or strategic initiatives.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $159,100 to $265,100

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance
