Job Description

Step into a high-impact role where you'll lead and coordinate construction projects that support critical infrastructure. As a Construction Project Supervisor I, you'll plan and manage construction activities from start to finish-ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in a cost-effective manner.

You'll operate in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and contractual requirements, while working closely with Technical Supervisors, Construction Project Supervisors, and Specialists to deliver successful project outcomes.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires strong problem-solving and decision-making in the field. Flexibility is key, including participation in an on-call rotation to support emergency response and operational needs 24/7.
The Construction Project Supervisor I Will:
Ensure contractor and Company compliance with all contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements, proactively addressing unsafe or unsatisfactory conditions.
Oversee construction from start to finish (New Business & Replacement), including site setup, safety, permitting, material handling, pipe installation, testing, restoration, and adherence to Company standards.
Approve field changes, contractor invoices, and ensure accuracy of field documentation while leveraging WMS and other systems to manage, audit, and report on project data.
Collaborate across teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, aligning with Company goals, policies, and customer expectations.
Provide real-time oversight and guidance related to AOCs, gas exposure, utility locating, soil/erosion control, and construction best practices.
Communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong coordination, site readiness, and customer satisfaction.
Participate in on call/after-hours supervisory responsibilities and support additional duties as needed.


You Have:
High School Diploma/GED required.
2+ years of construction-related experience required (6+ years preferred; education may be substituted).
Experience working with construction contractors and familiarity with energy/utilities industry preferred.
Strong working knowledge of construction processes (new business, replacement-LP/HP, plastic, steel, cast iron-abandonment, meter/regulator work), damage prevention, pipeline safety, and permitting requirements.
Ability to identify abnormal operating conditions, interpret codes and regulations, and understand soil/erosion control and gas monitoring readings.
Knowledge of construction contract administration, pricing, underground construction regulations, piping systems design, and gas distribution installation preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to analyze data, solve problems, and identify key issues.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across teams, with the ability to present ideas clearly to varied audiences.
Demonstrated leadership, project management, and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders to meet timelines, budgets, and project goals.
Valid driver's license required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,100 to $110,625 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
