What type of claim adjuster makes the most money?

In the insurance adjusting field, independent or catastrophe claim adjusters often earn the highest salaries due to their specialized skills and the demanding nature of large-scale claims, such as natural disasters. These adjusters typically work on a contract basis and may require certifications like the AIC or CPCU, with compensation influenced by the complexity and volume of claims handled.

Can I get a claims adjuster job with no experience?

Self-employed insurance adjusters typically need some industry knowledge and relevant certifications, such as state licensing, to start working. While entry-level positions may be available, gaining experience or training in claims handling, customer service, and insurance policies can improve job prospects. Some employers may offer training programs for newcomers to the field.
