Job description

At Epson we are passionate about bringing the next level home theater entertainment to every home in North America.  We are the world's largest manufacturer of in-home and office projection technology.  We design, develop and sell the world's best selling projectors for home theater, home entertainment and business applications.  The explosion of digital content has made it possible for everyone to experience a premium in-home experience brought to you by Epson's cutting edge projection technologies at a wide range of price points.  We are looking for an experienced, Best in Class Hardware Product Manager who has the vision, the drive and the desire to make an impact on how people enjoy entertainment in the home. 

The Product Manager will be based our of Epson America's headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA, with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

Position Purpose
Responsible for developing, planning and performing product management activities for Epson retail projector products.  Will engage at high level with key stakeholders, including Global Headquarters in Japan, North America Sales Management, Executive Management, Marketing Communications, Service and key retailers.  Must be able to operate at a senior level,  independently and able to drive accountability and results.

Principal Accountabilities

  • In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include:
  • Work with leadership to set business planning goals, and drive to meet those goals.
  • Lead out on promotional planning, setting promo strategy to align with profit goals and business plan.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and on-time product forecasting and procurement.
  • Work with leadership to set product positioning strategy and align with marcom activities.
  • Be the face of Epson at trade shows and PR events, talking deeply about products and use case applications.
  • Collaborate with team and Seiko to develop and drive product roadmap.

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years Product Management, preferably with hardware in the consumer electronic space.
  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).
  • MBA preferred.
  • Ability to travel

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $137,419 and $171,772  . Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
