Description


Seed to Table is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting products between company locations while ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in being reliable and punctual, and is committed to providing outstanding support to our operations. The ideal candidate values safety, communicates effectively, and maintains positive working relationships with team members across multiple locations.


Schedule: Friday through Sunday with a 5:00 AM start time (approximately 3-5 hours per shift). Additional availability is a plus.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company vehicle to transport products between Seed to Table locations.ย 
  • Complete local deliveries accurately and efficiently while following assigned routes and schedules.ย 
  • Load, unload, and transport products between company locations.ย 
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.ย 
  • Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safe driving practices.ย 
  • Maintain communication with managers and team members regarding delivery status, scheduling, or unexpected delays.ย 
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members across multiple stores.ย 
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and attention to detail.ย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Requirements

ย Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • No CDL required.
  • Availability to work Friday through Sunday with a 5:00 AM start time.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable with excellent attendance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, delivery schedules, and assigned routes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members across multiple locations.
  • Familiarity with Southwest Florida roadways is preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing, Walking, and Sitting: Ability to stand, walk, sit, and drive for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and/or pull products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Loading and Unloading: Ability to safely load, unload, and transport products to and from company vehicles.
  • Vehicle Operation: Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for extended periods, repeatedly enter and exit the vehicle throughout the shift, and maintain attention to traffic, road conditions, and overall safety while driving.
  • Environmental Conditions: ย Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to heat, humidity, rain, and cold temperatures while performing deliveries and loading or unloading products.ย 
  • Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, and climb in and out of vehicles as needed.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers to operate vehicle controls, secure cargo, and handle products safely.
  • Visual and Auditory Ability: Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, observe surroundings, read maps or navigation devices, and communicate effectively in person and by phone.
