Job Skills / Requirements

Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Flex Security Officer in the Inland Empire area (Fontana, San Bernardino, Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Perris). This officer will earn a pay rate of $23/hourly, paid weekly. With an increase to $25 per hour upon the successful completion of a 90-day probationary period. To qualify for the pay increase, the officer must successfully complete training at all assigned sites, maintain a strong attendance record with minimal call-offs, and demonstrate reliability by minimizing shift declines.

FULLY FLEXIBLE availability for day shift, swing shift, and night shift.

Requirements:

  • CA Guard Card/ 40-hour Certificate preferred
  • CPR Card
  • Minimum two years security officer experience
  • Successfully complete Sunstates background check which includes a 10 Panel Drug Screen and the clients more extensive background check
  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and more than 3 years of driving experience
  • Truck gate experience
  • Concierge Experience
  • Two-way radio communications experience
  • Microsoft Office suites experience

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
