This 2nd shift Assembler role focuses on cleanroom assembly of highly delicate catheter devices used in critical medical procedures. You will work primarily under a microscope, using small hand tools to assemble very small components such as coiled wire and tubing. This position requires strong attention to detail, consistent attendance, and the ability to work long shifts in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work under a microscope for extended periods to assemble very small parts, including coiling wire and inserting or handling small tubing.
  • Use small hand tools accurately and safely to build, align, and secure components during the assembly process.
  • Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures and cleanliness requirements, to ensure product integrity.
  • Inspect components and assemblies visually and under magnification to verify quality, identify defects, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Follow all production, safety, and quality procedures, including documentation and record-keeping as required.
  • Meet performance expectations for productivity, accuracy, and quality while maintaining a steady workflow throughout the shift.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively on the cleanroom floor while keeping focus on quality and output.

Why Work Here?

Employees have the opportunity to transition to full-time permanent roles after successfully completing their required hours, opening the door to long-term stability and growth. Once permanent, the company covers 100% of benefits for employees and 50% for their immediate families, providing significant financial and personal support. The organization offers attractive incentives such as a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and holiday pay, supporting both financial security and work-life balance. Pay progression opportunities may include a potential raise during the assignment and an additional raise upon conversion to permanent employment, rewarding strong performance and development. The culture values attendance, quality, performance, and effort, and leaders focus on helping employees grow rather than expecting them to be experts from day one.

Work Environment

This role is based in a controlled cleanroom environment where you will wear a full gown and follow strict cleanliness and safety protocols throughout your shift. The atmosphere encourages communication and positive relationships among team members, as long as quality standards and productivity expectations are met. The leadership team is described as understanding and supportive, offering multiple chances for improvement when they see consistent effort and strong attendance. The position is on 2nd shift, with interviews typically scheduled in the early evening, and start dates available most days of the week. Most employees currently work long shifts, often around 10 hours a day and up to 6 days a week, with average weekly hours typically ranging from 40 to 45. The work involves extended periods at a microscope and frequent use of small hand tools, so the environment is best suited for individuals comfortable with detailed, repetitive tasks in a structured, highly regulated setting.
