What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, warehouse spaces, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors, verifying credentials and following site protocols for access control and visitor processing.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site personnel, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
