Security Guard Officer

Location: Reno

Category: Security

Responsibilities and Duties: Security officer tasks may include but not limited to: Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Obtains help by sounding alarms. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers, identifying risks and notifying appropriate management authority or 911/Police. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Maintain a written log of all daily activities per shift.

Position Requirements: Be at least 18 years old or minimum age required by the State. Must have a Valid Guard Card. Should possess great English communicating abilities, both written and oral. Should be responsible, flexible and dependable. Have access to reliable transportation. Positive and confident professional image. Be able to successfully complete all training required for the position. Demonstrate an ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public. Must be drug free.
