As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
