Job Summary
We are seeking professional Armed Security Officers to join our team in Wisconsin. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment by protecting our premises, assets, and employees, while preventing any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. This is an armed positionrequiring compliance with Wisconsin firearms regulations.
We offer flexible part-time scheduling to accommodate work-life balance while providing professional opportunities for those seeking to grow in the security field. The ideal candidate has prior security or law enforcement experience, maintains the highest degree of integrity, and is fully certified to carry a firearm while on duty.
Responsibilities
  • Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
  • Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
  • Remove trespassers when necessary
  • Monitor surveillance cameras
  • Respond to reports of suspicious activity
  • Report on daily activities and any security incidents
Qualifications
  • Valid Wisconsin Private Security Person license (security guard license)
  • Completion of the 36-hour Firearms Training Course required under Wis. Admin. Code SPS 34.03
  • Possession of a valid Firearms Certification of Proficiency Permit issued through Wisconsin DSPS
  • Previous experience as a Security Guard, Armed Officer, or in a similar position preferred
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
  • Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Attention to detail and strong observational skills
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
