What youwill do

A Johnson Controls Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert. You will alleviate concerns the customer may haveregardinga security system. You willadvisecustomers and the customer care center of the status of systems andprocessesinspections. You will repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, Card Accesssystemsand other security equipment. This Technician will be setup withall ofthe tools and equipment needed to work independently from a remote location.Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolveservice relateditems. As a trusted advisor to ourcustomersyou will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service
How you will do it

As a Commercial ServiceTechnicianyou willlocateand alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring; readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation; prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs. You will also coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or otherappropriate agencies. Service Technicians willbe responsible forthe service and repair Commercial security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/Card Access systems.Provide recommendations and solutions to ensurefacilityis running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

What we look for

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum3-4years' experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.

  • Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras

  • HIRSCH Certificate

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Electrical/Electronic background.

  • Valid driver's license.


Preferred

  • Fire alarm experience preferred.

  • Somecollegepreferred.

  • NICET II or greater preferred.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $32.06 - $44.13 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
