Job Summary:As McKesson transitions its Medical-Surgical business unit into a new independent entity, we are seeking aproject coordinator toprovide essential operational and administrative project support for the stand-up of the new company'sEnvironmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and Global Security functions.Reporting to theAccelerated Transformation Director, Business Operations, and directly supporting theVP of EH&S/Global Securityand team leadership, this roleownsthe day-to-day tracking of separation milestonesand planning, coordinating cross-functional activities,risk escalation,and leadership-ready status reportingto ensure the new business unit is operational.

The ideal candidate is a highly organizedproject managerwho can translate leadership direction into structured project tracking,organize andfacilitate complex meeting schedulesand stakeholder meetings, andrelentlessly follow-through with cross-functional teamstoensure that no action item falls through the cracks during a high-stakes business separation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership Support:Provide dedicated support to the VP of EH&S/Global Security,andATVleadership,toassistin their onboarding, stakeholder navigation, and functional stand-up.

  • Project Plan Maintenance:Build,maintain, and actively manage integrated project plans, dependencies, and milestones with inputfrom workstream leadsunder the direction of the Director and VP.

  • Progress Tracking:Actively track progress against key separation milestones and deliverables;identifyandescalatepotential delays or bottlenecks to leadership.

  • Meeting Facilitation:Coordinate andfacilitateregular project update meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing detailed meeting minutes, and aggressively following up on assigned action items.

  • Information Aggregation:Consolidatedata and requirements from various business functions (IT, Facilities, HR, Operations) to support the development of "right-sized"NewCoprocesses.

  • Status Reporting:Create andpresentofproject status reports, risklogs, and visual dashboards for weekly workstream reviews.

  • Activity Coordination:Manage thelogisticsof the separation workstream, including scheduling stakeholder interviewsand meetings, managing document repositories (SharePoint/Teams), and ensuring alignment acrosscross-functional teams.

  • IT Build Support:Assistinfacilitatingdiscovery sessionstocapturebusiness requirements and tracktoprogress of the Security/EH&S IT solution buildRequirements:

  • Experience:2-3 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or business operations, preferably within a corporate transformation or M&A environment.

  • Tool Proficiency:HighproficiencyinSmartsheetandGoogle Productsisrequired.

  • Organization:Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume tracking tasks across multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to summarize complex meeting discussions into clear, concise action items and executive summaries.

  • Collaboration:Comfortable working in a matrixed environment, taking direction from both a functional VP and a transformation Director.

  • Adaptability:Resilient and able to execute tasks in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment duringa businessseparation.

  • Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
