Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Leader to a leadership position. They will be responsible for supporting the overall strategy, execution of deliverables, project completion & profitable outcomes. This is a direct placement role on-site at McLean, Virginia. The Project Leader is expected to provide overall development, training & leadership to Junior Project Leadership, Field-Superintendents & Trades personnel. This position does not require a clearance to start, but needs to have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. This is a great opportunity to join rapidly expanding datacenter work in the NOVA region. Responsibilities for the Project Leader: * Proficient understanding and knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS.
* Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems, electronic security systems, or Fire and Life Safety.
* Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
* Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews.
* Researching and compiling submittals, identifying/pricing change orders and preparing estimates for projects.
Required Qualifications for the Project Leader: * 5+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline.
* Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules.
* Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher-Education, Information Transit Systems.
* No clearance required but ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Compensation for the Project Leader: * Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000 *depending on experience*
