Job description

The Operations Manager IIIย will work as a contractor to support theย Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)) Sensitive Activities & Special Programs (SASP).ย ย 

ย 
Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:ย 

  • Oversee and manage daily operations within the Influence and Perception Management Office, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective quality control programs to ensure services are performed to the highest standards.ย 

Security and Compliance:ย 

  • Identify and mitigate security incidents, developing response measures for government leadership.
  • Serve as the Program Security Officer (PSO) and subject matter expert for special security and special access program support in SCIF and SAPF environments.ย 

Coordination and Management:ย 

  • Monitor access to SCIF/SAPF and ensure compliance with physical and administrative security requirements.
  • Coordinate with the OUSW(I&S) Special Access Program Central Office, Special Security Office, Joint Staff, and Military Services security offices for guidance and resolution of security-related issues.ย 

Program and Policy Management:ย 

  • Initiate and coordinate Program Access Requests (PARS) and facilitate Alternate Compensatory Control Measure (ACCM) accesses.
  • Update and maintain classified access management systems of record.ย 

Facility and Resource Management:

  • Coordinate facility, equipment, communications, and IT needs specific to SCIF/SAPF requirements.
  • Prepare for and assist during required security inspections.ย 

Strategic Planning and Reporting:

  • Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data in support of DoW and federal interagency operations.
  • Review, monitor, and report the status of action items, activities, and products using the CATMS and JSAP systems.ย 

ย ย *This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a defense or intelligence environment.
  • Experience in managing security operations and special access programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-stakes environment.
  • Proficiency in managing classified information and understanding of security protocols.ย ย
