Job description

Position Title: Senior Portfolio Security Manager
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: Active TS/SCI required
U.S. Citizenship required

Position Overview

OMNI is seeking a Senior Portfolio Security Manager to manage all contractor security activities for the program and serve as the primary interface with government security leadership. The role includes security program oversight, policy implementation, compliance, inspections, reporting, and integration across all security disciplines (personnel, physical, information, industrial, and program security).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all contractor security functions across personnel, physical, information, and program security disciplines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government security leadership, program management, and customer security staff.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security plans, policies, and procedures consistent with NISPOM, ICDs, and DoD/IC security directives.
  • Direct and oversee subordinate security staff (PSOs, ISSOs, personnel/physical security specialists) and coordinate crossโ€‘discipline security activities.
  • Plan for and lead government and internal security inspections, selfโ€‘assessments, and audits; track and close corrective actions.
  • Report security incidents, violations, and infractions according to contractual and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Advise program management on security risk, cost, and schedule impacts of security requirements.
  • Maintain security documentation, including Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs), SSPs, and facility accreditation packages.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Significant experience (10+ years) in industrial or government security management with leadership of a multiโ€‘discipline security program.
  • Knowledge of NISPOM, ICD 705, DoD 5205โ€‘series manuals, and related federal/IC security directives.
  • Experience serving as primary security POC with government customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior government and company leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO).
  • Experience managing security for Special Access Programs (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
  • Professional certification (e.g., ISP, SAPPC, FSO Program Management Curriculum completion).
  • Experience supporting USSF/DoD space sensing or overhead architecture programs.
