Job Description

Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor.

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Starting Pay $18.52 / hour 

Shifts Available: All shifts (1st, 2nd and 3rd)

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Prior leadership experience, must be able to train, comfortable with walking entire shift, detail oriented, compliance and policy driven

Staff Management:

  • Administers site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers to include construction area safety. 
  • Enforces Allied Universal’s policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos. 
  • Oversee all Job Related and ongoing training for security officers this includes client-based computer training both initial and annual training. It will also include training on all systems utilized by the client. 
  • Effectively Communicate any client special coverage requests, Security Professional Request Offs & Position Openings to the Operations Manager. 
  • Addressing employee concerns and disciplinary issues. 
  • Communicate staffing needs to Operations Manager. 

 Security Operations: 

  • Implementing and enforcing specific client security policies and procedures.  
  • Conducting regular security patrols and inspections of the premises.  
  • Monitoring security systems like CCTV cameras and access control systems.  
  • Responding to security alarms and incidents promptly.  

Incident Response: 

  • Investigating security breaches and suspicious activities.  
  • Documenting incidents and preparing reports to be sent to the Operations Center. 

 Communication and Collaboration: 

  • Coordinate and maintain open communication with clients, AUS management, and Security Officers. 
  • Main point of contact for client and Operations Manager on all day-to-day operations. 
  • Briefing staff on security protocols, new procedures and other important information
